Szkola Podstawowa nr 2 im. ks. Kardynala Karola Wojtyly w Zawoi is a primary school. There are 150 pupils in the 6-15 age range. The pupils learn two foreign languages: English from the first class and German: during last two years at school. The pupils are active, ambitious, open for knowledge. They have their aspirations and future plans.

We organize presentation to celebrate different holidays. For example:
Day of the school patron, Grandma’s and Grandpa’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas play or The Saint Nicholas Day.
Our school has organized „family picnic” for a few years.  It’s an event when we can have fun do sports and spend time with family or friends. The Picnic is a result of cooperation of our parents our teachers and us.
In our school we celebrate the carnival: We come dressed up in different costumes, and then we dance, play different games, simply we have good fun.

We love sport. We have two gyms where we can do sport, playfields for outdoor activities, and ice rink in the wintertime. Sport in our school is very expanded. We also skate a lot during the winter. We have competition with some awards too. Our school organizes skiing competition every year. We have some slopes in Zawoja. Some pupils take part in this tournament with a lot of fun. In addition, winners always get awards.
